A Descriptive Text about My Place in Prakerin

 

DESCRIPTIVE TEXT ABOUT MY PLACE IN PRAKERIN

My name is Shilva Adhelia or you can call me Adhel. I am a grade 12 student from the Semarang State 4 vocational high school. At my final level I had to do industrial work practice or what could be called prakerin. I have been accepted at a company that suits my major, namely building design. I was accepted at CV Agdi Indo Consultant which is located in the Banyumanik area, Semarang or in more detail at Permata Grafika Housing Block C number 16. CV Agdi Indo Consultant itself is managed by our boss who is usually called Mr. Dwi. He also went to the same school and had the same major as me. He is exciting but also firm in leading. Apart from Mr. Dwi, one of the drafters at this company is also an alumnus of Vocational High School 4 Semarang. When the supervising teacher came here, he said the drafter here used to be an international drawing champion, that's cool, right?

This company provides a sufficient and suitable office for us to carry out internships. This office not only contains those of us who are doing internships but also the boss and employees here. This office provides facilities that I think are sufficient. This office is still standing strong and is very suitable to be occupied. However, the cleanliness and tidiness of this office is still lacking because there is still a lot of dust and dirt in the corners of the room. There are also many things that are not neatly arranged in here. The layout here is quite suitable for the office of a small company like this CV.

This company operates in the field of building design in more detail as a planner and supervisor. I am here working as this company should work. This project is currently designing and supervising a project that is building a second floor mosque located not far from the office. My internship colleagues and I also took part in that. I helped draw or design the mosque from the floor plan to every appearance of the mosque. Apart from drawing and designing, I also supervise the construction of the mosque, which is still ongoing. Here I also learned how to calculate budget requirements for building buildings or what is usually called RAB. I'm not alone in doing it all, if we don't understand what we are doing, we are helped by the boss and employees here. I was also given tips by the drafter on how to draw quickly and more easily than we learned at school.

I really enjoy doing internships here because I am surrounded by good people. The boss here is very kind, easy to get along with, and easy to discuss with. He is also a cool guy who knows the latest updates. The employees here are also kind and not stingy in sharing their knowledge, they are also patient in dealing with those of us who still don't know anything about the world of work. Apart from them, I also studied with fun and good friends, namely Nur Hidayati and Dickya Nadiv. They are good partners in studying because they want to help each other and are not selfish.
